Name: Vix.
Gender: Female.
Age: 4 years, 5 months.
Species: Hyena.
Physical Description: Vix is a lean but muscular striped hyena. She has long, thin crest hairs, in a light golden, almost a very light chestnut-like color. She is about one hundred ten centimeters in length, her tail an additional thirty. From the ground to her shoulder, she is about eighty-five centimeters in height. Long, dark stripes run down her sides in contrast to her light brown, nearly tawny pelt. Her limbs have similar, but thinner and shorter lines running across. Her eyes are a deep, dark brown. Her muzzle is the same dark shade as her stripes, fading into her standard coat color. Her crest is long, with her coat mid-length.
Personality: Strong-willed, mischievous, and easily provoked, Vix is rather moody. There is no in-between with her: she has a good side and a bad side. When feeling happy or content, she is flirtatious, gracious, and sarcastic. She may offer a kind word now and again, or perhaps a favor, but she is overall set on her goals and often refuses to budge. So, on the one hand, you have a tolerable, smart, and thankful being. But on the other hand, you have an ill-tempered, stubborn, ruthless hyena. Things can set off Vix large and small: if you were to put her down, she would react entirely different on a day-to-day basis. When she loses her temper, she is on a rampage. Although she makes an effort to avoid violence, she isn’t always successful. Vix speaks her mind regardless of the situation: she feels it is both her right and responsibility to state her opinion.
History: Vix was born in a small zoo. Her mother died in childbirth, and so Vix was left alone, a young pup, in an exhibit with many strange hyenas. However, after several months of her zoo life, a terrible drought occurred, causing those around her to turn on one another. As the drought persisted, prey grew scarce, reducing the amount of food animals recieved, and in the end several of the hyenas ate the weak of their own kind. Before long, the zoo owner could not afford to keep the zoo, and so released all the animals into the wild irresponsibly. She persisted through the land… until she arrived here.
